And this one time I HAD brand new lipstick

Such a pretty color as it were; it is now a stained memory on our br counter. Why is it that we don't get angry? Every time I laugh and go for my camera. This time the little diva got a small time out to go with her fries.

Fruit chews

Today has left me feeling that my 3 year old definetely has a vivid imagination. I gave the kids these (for those 30+ something ladies) what I would call "SLIME" eggs at Halloween and they looked like something that would be found in your nasal cavity ; YUK, (she called them the "B" word.) When given the worms, she tells you that she no longer wants them. All the whining today stems from this little incident where God forgive she gets the snack I think she is grunts for. Is she going through the terrible 2's very late?

This is why I love beer so much

Halloween at the Youngs

Oh boy did my kids get overloaded with sugar! We went to the Lanzolatta's for the annual trick or treat bash with about 20 kids and parents. Traveling about in the neighborhood was quite interesting this year. As the kids get older we realize they don't need mom and dad to walk them to the doors. It is sad;in a way, but their independence is increasing day by day and we are loathing in it.
The pumpkin patch was fun as well. Here is a picture from the patch...

OurYoungfamily: I have been way too busy

OurYoungfamily: I have been way too busy

I have been way too busy

Wow, has it been that long since I last posted? Well, I have been busy and not feeling well lately. However, my love of junking has only gotten stronger. 2 Weekends my MIL and I went to a huge local thrift sale and wow, the things we came home with!! I also got to mill around at the outdoor flea market at UNC's campus where my hubby was at a conference. This was definetely worth the long drive there. I will post pics of my finds...

On a totally different subject, the Regis and Kelly show is having a look alike contest and I have been told that I resemble a combo of 2 famous people: Cheryl Crowe and SJP. I don't know if this is a good thing or not; kinda scary if you ask me; but thought I would enter the contest just for the hellofit.
Shall let you know what happens.....

Lovely March Weekend

What a lovely weekend. Loehr was home, got to ride his bike and we did our family thing together. I love it. Back to school today for Randan. He is excited. I attempted felted eggs. It was rather time consuming but pretty neat. I need to work on fine details.

St Patty's Day was spent with my 2 kiddos. They drank green milk. Daddy saw the picture. Anyway, a little dissapointed that I did participate in drinking green brew but that's okay.

Ta da for now

Wow what a unique week for Randan

Hi and welcome to our Blog!! It is St Patricks Day and I thought this would be a perfect day to start a Blog. Randan, now 4.5 has had a challenging yet memorable week . We cant forget to write these down in his growth book so he can look back when he is 21 and be oh so embarrassed, LOL....

First, he decided he would drop trow in Lowe's at the check out counter. Of course it didn't bother him one ioda. It certainly embarrassed mom for sure. What could I say? What could I do? Then in a new Italian restaurant he pulled the fire alarm. Everyone scurried and the place was hoppin'. Randan learned 2 new lessons this week:

Never pee pee in a store on the floor again
NEVER Never pull a fire plug unless there is a fire.

Just another day in the lives of our Young family........
